Just read about the BMW's new 2.0 diesel engine.
177 hp and Co2's under 130 g/km!
This value is given for the 1-series, but anway!
Any on you out there have children?

It'll be in the E60/E61 from September!
It also includes the newly presented Stop-And-Go system (1- and 3-series) that automatically shuts down the engine and lock it so that you cannot restart it without qualified assistant from an authorised, ie expensive, garage.

CO2 is the least of your worries...
It's ncertainly the point the Bush administration is sticking to regarding the Kyoto Protocol.

all bmw diesels are equipped with particle filters.
so "nox" should be minimal.
but the most important is diesel are faster and stronger! (and more fuel efficient, if that matters)
remember the us diesels was developed before ww2 and have stayed the same ever since, thats why some of you guys are sceptic.
