Yeah. It is not allowed, but I dont care haha
Never been pulled over and i live with 2 police stations next door, so they see me often.
Keep the plate on the dash though.
I am heading for France in a an hour or so, and used my sticker to avoid beeing stopped in Belgium and France (I hope haha). When I get back, I will lose the sticker...

Hi guys, wanne share something.
Last monday my car went dead. Fortunately I had reached a parking place, so no harm done. Nothing worked at all. I even couldn't close my car. The problem was a broken dynamo and the battery was dead. The problem is solved now and everyting works now fine.
The garage gave me also an advice. Het told met that it is common that the diesels from MY2004 could get serious problems when it has reached 160.000 km. The intake manifolds (inlaatspruitstuk) should be replaced. If not the enige could get broken. Cost of replacement between 8000 and 12000 euro. However if I replace the intake manifolds before it's broken it will 'only' cost me ? 650,- (new intake plus labour). Do you recognize this problem. As far i know this problem is solved in the diesels MY 2005.

Dude, these wheels look sweet
Make sure to shoot some pics...
@Irshad.. Sorry to hear about your problem. I never heard of such a problem. Replacing the manifold at 160k for a diesel seems premature to me.

Hi Irshad, I could remember reading about this issue before on this forum and I found it. Perhaps you can read a solution in this thread https://5series.net/forums/topic/704...1&#entry787542
If you are planning on keeping the car, I would just bite the bullet and get it done. Piece of mind is better than saying in a while....wish I'd done that!
@Pete, does your wife know you're checking the BMW site whilst on holiday
I will post pics Sunday. The rear bumper is being put back today! Going to be a long 3 weeks till I get the quad exhaust though!!!!
