Going to get the dry air filter because I think but I may be wrong that the oily filters are somehow no good for air sensor. Is there any big difference in dry and oily filtered by air flow viewpoint? Which one you would recommend. K&N, Afe. Bmc if I go by dry?

I've been using K&N filters on my vehicles for maybe 10 years. I've never had any problems with maf sensors on any of them, but I am careful not to overdo the filter oiling.

 

same here 10yrs...all bmw.... no problems

 

I've been using original equipment (paper) air filters for 26 years ... never a problem with MAS either.

 

I ordered aFe dry filter and will report back if I see any gains in power.
