Hello all. I have two wuestions that I hope you can help with.

1) I am looking to get Mtech front bumper (and possibly side skirts and rear bumper). I have stock sport suspension with 124 style rims. Anyone seen how this combo looks? Not sure if 124 will look ok wit5h m tech.

2) I am considering removing the headliner to inspect the tray and drains bc of recurrent water leaking into the car with washing. My question is...is there any sensor that might deploy side curtains with this. Do i need to disconnect battery, etc? Rudy posted link to a great topic which showed most of the procedure.

Thanks all. Any advice would be much appreciated.

1) Don't worry. It will look better than stock regardless. Go for it.

2) To be safe, disconnect the battery

mtech kit with 18" 124's don't look bad at all....some members may suggest dropping it or adding spacers to the 124's...but here's a few pics the set-up..

1. yes it will look good.

2. how is your sunroof weatherstripping/seal? if its original, i'd change it....more likely its lost its shape. i replaced mine on an 06 car and was amazed at how much quiter it made my car inside...no more wind noise on the highway.

Thanks guys!! I knew I could count on you all. Do you really think its more likely the sunroof seal? The leaks only occur in the rear of the headliner. What do you all think? If its just changng the sunroof seal, that would be a heck of a lot easier.

you don't have to change suspension or even add spacers IMO...just throw the kit on and handle it

Quick update and a big thanks to you turboawd. I bought the sunroof seal for 45 dollars and after a five minute install (diy thread on e60) no more leak AND much quieter. Funny, the stealer wanted $700.00 to remove headliner and unclog the drain tubes suggesting that this was the most likely cause despite my question on whether the sunroof seal. Now, working on installing the MOST interface for the ipod. I already have the car programmed for mp3 playback, so not sure if ill need to reprogram the car again. Different members here have had different experiences, so we shall see.
