Think about all that downforce he gets at 40 mph with that!

I say go for the small M5 style spoiler bro.

unorthodox look?

not to sound negative or anything but I agree , the spoiler that flares outward from the trunk looks way more cleaner..

We all have different tastes of what looks good. I do like the M5 spoiler but I just mounted one today that extends off the back of the trunk. I think it makes the rear of the car more aggressive. Had it mounted with the 3m tape but didn't like the way it sat, so mounted it with BetaLink K1. Will pull tape off tomorrow and take a picture.

Don't worry about the naysayers. I personally agree with you, besides the M5 lip, every other spoiler looks obnoxious.

It looks kind of weird to me ... It doesn't really give you downforce since it is negative camber beveled so if it is for looks only then still looks strange. Not every thing looks good on the trunk of e60. I be curious to see a full bumper /rear shot that shows the tail lights and the rear bumper lines along with your wing. Maybe Ia m totally wrong about the looks>

looks good to me.. I think these spoilers tend to look better in person than they do in pictures too.
