I just installed mine. It should naturally fall into place on it's own. There are tabs underneath that help seat it forward\backwards.

BTW, a little tip. Once the tape touches the trunk, it will not want to let go. It's almost as if you only have one chance to place the spoiler on the trunk or else it won't come off easily for you to reposition it. This is what I did:

Do a test fit of the spoiler and place masking tape to mark off where the front, back, and side tips will lay down on. Even go as far as doing an outline of the spoiler edge with the masking tape. I then got my 8 year old son and 8 year old nephew to hold the ends\tips and practice laying the spoiler down evenly and at the same time right on where the tape outline is. At the same time, I would guide the spoiler front or back. Do a couple of practice runs to make sure the kids placed it where you would want it and then peel the protective strip off the tape and do the final mount. To me this is at least a 2 person mounting job because 1 person can't see both ends at the same time to see if it is going on the right spot properly. Good Luck!

Really? I mean it's not the greatest, but everything else looks silly. I have this spoiler on order. Expecting it soon.

All the other spoilers stick out past the trunk giving the car a really unorthodox look. What do you recommend?

lol funny you say that. I had it installed in the last position I showed yesterday, but I realized that the gap I left on the tape was on the wrong side, so I removed the spoiler. I'll put it back on tonight.
