Default Need new front floor mats.. how are the oem rubber mats?

My driver floor mat has seen better days and it is constantly sliding around because the hook is missing. I'm going to replace the front mats only as the rears looks brand new still. How are the oem rubber mats? anything else recommended?

People say the WeatherTech mats are the best, but I have the OEMs and I think they're pretty darn good.

+1 on the weathertech mats. I have a tan set for the winters and they are nice when I test fitted them in the car. Of course you being from the Bay Area would know that the past few winters have been dry so needless to say I haven't used them yet.

Do the weathertech mats include the anchor that latches onto the car floor? how are they different/better from the oem rubber mats?

I don't think they do. I believe that they are thicker/heavier with deeper sides so that slush and mud is less likely to spill over. I don't think they'll move around if that's why you're asking. Although they are a good product, they are ridiculously priced OMHO.

I have the OEM rubber mats, they work very well and are pretty good about 'staying in place'. I have them in to protect the new OEM carpet mats, especially down here in FL since it is the rainy season for us. They are of good quality.

I have the BMW oem rubber mats and they are good and have been durable.
I have two nearly new sets of oem BMW carpet mat sets. Both sets look new. One is black and the other set is beige. Contact me if you want to buy them.

The set of BMW All Weather rubber mats I bought this year were made by Weathertech. Only $65 for both fronts.

I bought a pair of the fronts from a local dealer, used a 10% off coupon. They come with new hooks for the mats, too. Very nice for the price.

I'd previously tried some universal ones, and fitment on the front driver's side sucks due to the floor-mounted gas pedal. I threw some universal cheapies in the rear.
