Need help with weird nosie: video attached
Hi folks hope someone can help me with this one, short story I drove the car on friday from PA to NY 2 hours drive, the car sat overnight and next morning I started the car and got an Increased Emission SES, drove it for 30 mins and the noise started, the codes i have is po174, I ordered a new CCV/Oil Separator which is bad. Is this noise related to the bad PCV? Also there is a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust when the car is first started. Thanks in advance guys. :-)

Smoke is related to CCV.
The noise seems to pulsate, and if I were to guess, I would say it's a pulley rather than the CCV. However since you know you have a CCV problem, start there. Replace it and see if that makes a difference. It's very possible that it's crankcase ventilation related.

Thanks for the reply guys I found out the noise is coming from air escaping from the rear main seal since the CCV is broken it found the way out there, thanks tho, CCV is on the way :-)
