Need help with tire sizes

need to replace my rears...i rub a bit when going over bumps and rub when i load the back up with passengers...should i go to a narrower tire but a higher ratio 285/30 or stick with my current setup at 295/25, not sure if it is better to go narrower but higher or wider and lower...tks

What kind of profile tire and wheels do you have on your rears now? Are you lowered? More information would be helpful. Both 285/30 and 295/25 will definitely rub if you have an aggressive offset and if you have not rolled your fenders yet.

If you put 285/30 your wheel plus tire will be 1" bigger than your current setup.
Is there such thing as 285/25? Is your car lowered? if it's lowered with a 1" increase in diameter, i think it may rub even more?
go to the mods section and ask the gurus there =P
