My Ride: MY RIDE is DA real .-) HAMANN 5 aka BLACK MAMBA born on 16/06/2005/delivered on 05/08/2005 as following:

w/o any offence why you want this in your Citroen? I will put M5 badge on my 530d then 
for me it is ok, just kidding BOTH!!! But really do not act like you will have one, I prefer more individuality IMO then coping others.

the only resone for me to use i drive skin is because its very simple to use in the car,there are soooo many skins you can find like the Audi MMI and many others but idrive is the simple to use.its not that i will have idrive skin i will have a bmw car..,i realy like my citroen 16v and belive me..this specific citroen can give a nice fight to other cool cars ... 
ohhh...BTW..i finsh to build now the idrive knob with PowerMate.looks very cool and realy easy to use than my 7"touch screen most of the time.

But your touchscreen will definately be nice... i'd be lying if i wasn't interested to see how close you get to the actual idrive. Post us some pics when you're done.

OK, first of all i must say a big thanks to the guy who worte this amzing free open source software,RoadRunner,it can be found at http://www.mp3car.com ,also you can find many other softwares that are in the same idea,you pick what u like
This site is for Carputer stuff,very cool site and you can find there many with BMW that are using this kind of softwares
i add a short clip of my PC idrive at work,most of the skins i painted (main screen and some others)but you can paint any skin you like and change the software to your personal needs wich makes it very easy to use in driving time not like a OEM softwares that what u see its what u get with no options to change.

tnx!!, i took a low res to make the file small but it looks much better and many more functions are working,GPS,Internet and many more,but still i need good pics of the original idrive to make my skin to look 100% like the real one. also im working now on the distance sensors skin,i need to buy a USB sensors for rear and front and friend will take the info from the sensors and translate the data to moving pic like the real idrive,this is going to be very intersting to see it working in my citroen

at my home pc i control it with keyboard also with a mouse, in my car i have a 7" touchscreen but i found that PowerMate can do a better job for scrolling and selecting,the same idea as the idrive knob,i build armset and install the PowerMate inside it and it looks almost like the real thing.hehehee...now i just need to buy a BMW
my carputer set up :
7" touchscreen-Liliput
Mini ATX motherboard(EPIA N10000)
GPS antena
PowerMate (scrolling and select)
120 Giga Hard disk.
Cell Phone connected thru USB to PC,(i can dail and recive calls from PC also surrf the net)
Audio output from PC to car amp
