The last time I broke a bottle of wine in the trunk, I fried just the TPMS. So I would say do not assume everything is fried.

Also for future purposes, just wrap everything in a ziplock and tape it on the side of the tire-well.

There is thread somewhere in which someone drilled a hole in the trunk to avoid this.

OK, got the parts that Gee told me I should order, but now I have no idea how to put it all together. After taking apart my trunk, I've found what I think is a MOST connection (I get a red light from it), but how do I "jump" it with the two parts to get my radio back? (see pictures) Any help would be so appreciated!

That is the fiber channel (MOST). It's a closed circuit so it should be plugging into something else. I mean you had to unplug it from somewhere. All plugs fit only one port, there's no way to mix them up.

For sure, it came out of the ULF. But now, I've got the diagnostic connector (the piece that looks like a block with a tapering end on it), and I'm trying to attach that, but can't for the life of me, see how it fits.

On the part with the triangular looking section(part A), on the back end where you see the two holes, that part needs to be pulled out. That is just a dust cover or how it is shipped. After you pull out that part the other part (part b ) should fit into it perfectly. Don't connect them yet.

I'm trying my best not to confuse you. The connector that is already on the car needs to be removed, inside is another connector that should fit into Part B, after you get part B over the most wires connect part B into part A. Sorry, This is the best I can do without looking at them.

Actually I think part B just goes directly over the old connector then connect to Part A. Either case I think you were just stuck with the dust cover on part A.

Reconnect that part with the number 2676, that is an antenna for the passive go system, it has nothing to do with what you are trying to accomplish.

Thanks Gee. I missed your last 2 posts because I had just figured out the dust protector thing. Radio is working again!!!!! AWESOME! Thank you so much!

Now, all I have to figure out is how to get my iPod/Aux working again.

Your job at this is admirable! I think you've saved yourself quite a bit of money and also built a better relationship with your car! Anything is possible now!!!!
