first of all, welcome to the forum.

wow. it's tough to answer your question, since it's unclear what exactly you need. when you bought parts from ebay, how did you know what parts you needed? you might be better off having the entire car checked out, and have a bmw expert give your car a once-over to make sure you get the parts you actually need, and uncover any other issues. as far as programming the system, yes, you probably need to bring it into a dealership - i don't think you can just plug it into some sort of hacking system.

where are you from? good luck with your car!

daydok brings up some very valid points. These cars are quite complex and the thought that you can just plug and play different components is a very risky one indeed.

I can't name specific modules but I do know that many of them are "married" to the car in firmware and once they've been married, there's no possibility of divorce! It's very likely that you'll need help from someone who has the equipment and knowledge to be able to perform software coding on the car.

Wish I could deliver better news or be more helpful...

I have the same car as you.
I dont know what part you what, and which part is wrong?
So for the electronic I think itis better to go back to a dealar and get it sorted. This is the only part that I will never get it done out side. It just like a computer, it has alot of bugs and not many people from outside that can fix the BMW bugs apart from the dealers.

If you take it out side to get it fix then, I know you will find that it hard to fix it and spend alot of the time & money to fixing it.

as of most of the other stuff you can take outside of BMW dealer and get it fix which is alot cheeper.
All my upgrades & Mod I have fixed outside.

Good Luck
