need good source for INPA/NCSE
Yes, I know- "do a search you %&@#$*#$*!!!!"
Everything I came across is outdated, and leads to broken links. I'm hoping someone here can provide me with a good, reliable download source for INPA and NCSExpert. Trying to help out my best friend who is having a heck of a time finding it. He has an '08 550i M Sport, and I'm trying to help him troubleshoot some issues remotely (I'm in FL, he's in CA).
I have my software from BM Technic. I'd offer him mine, but BM Technic folded and the thumb drive I have it on only allows the software to be installed on one computer AFAIK. If anyone has the BM Technic suite and was able to install it on multiple computers, please let me know and I'll just mail him my drive.
He bought a cable from a company that won't supply him with INPA and NCSE (!) So he has the cable, and DIS, but I'd really like to help him out via INPA and NCSExpert.
Can anyone point me to a good reliable source for those two programs? website, dropbox, etc? I would be incredibly appreciative of anyone who can help out.
thanks to anyone who can help.

You can check on bimmerfest, coding section. Also at bmwcoding.com. I also have the bmtecnic and having been watching the website the creator frequented. So far no workaround as he used a server that is now offline for the activation code. Great software, wish he hadn't folded. Hope this helps.

yea, we found a copy. as for the BM Technic situation, I have it too and it's damn shame they had to fold up. They by FAR had the best interface out there. Installing their software suite was as simple as installing SIM City onto your desktop. Thankfully I paid the extra few bucks and got the software on a USB flash drive. I hope they're able to find a work around, because as far as I can tell that really was the best way to go.
the guys at bmwcoding.com typically aren't very helpful with this sort of thing. If you brick your CAS you might get some help, but other than that you get flamed for asking 'NeWb KweScHuNz". Honestly, I have little to no use for that forum.
thanks for the response.

Have no luck with it yet. Going to get dedicated laptop like IBM with windows XP 32 bit as it looks like is best suited to run the software. Going to buy this BMW USB OBD K Dcan Cable Dis SSS Ncsexpert Inpa Ediabas | eBay. Is anyone running it? Like to hear your experience.

Can't comment on that cable, but I do recommend you get a dedicated XP based laptop to do all of your 'car stuff' with. I had an old Dell laying around that I used, but you can pick up a decent laptop that'll do what you need it to do on ebay for $200 or less. Use the cable and laptop combo twice, and it just paid for itself.
