Any suggestions for a sweet looking license plate holder for my 2004 530i, I need front and back and do not want to use the dealers with the big ugly dealer name blaring at you!
Thx!

I have two of these, but have not mounted the front one yet.

I'm sure it's a matter of personal taste and preferences but for me, I've decided that my car simply looks better with no license plate frame at all.

My goal is to not try to "dress up" something that should be ignored. The frame tends to call attention to the plate which results in taking attention away from the fantastic lines of the car.

Keep in mind that we don't have front mounted plates here (thank God!) so maybe my logic only applies to the rear of the car?

Oh well, my $0.02.

I got one of the following plates from Griot's Garage - and will be getting another for the front. It is not some cheapo frame - but real Carbon Fiber. Looks very nice.

I'm not using a license plate holder either.

If I were though, it'd be plain silver or black.

An easy/cheap/decent looking frame can be had if you turn the dealer's frame over and set the license plate in it.

I have a thin black frame around my plate now.
