Rain water in NE USA -- not this week!!

Not coolant ... it may be fluid from your windshield washer system ?? If you activate and nothing pumps up to windshield one of the plastic pipes may have come undone.

It's not a easy task to change the front windscreen on modern cars.

If you had the side windows closed and not too much snow on your boots, it must be the...

Likewise - on one of my older BMWs the hose came off one of the Windshield Washer Jets and water was pumped out and appeared behind the front wheels. Since it was WS Washer stuff it wasn't plain water and I knew it came from the washer system. You said your car hadn't seen snow so it couldn't be melting snow / ice from the fender wells. Have you washed it recently? Maybe water is collecting in recesses and dripping out over time?

Even if the Windshield is original - the seal could develop leaks ...

It's a real puzzle for sure and it's a good think that most of the body panels are treated to resist corrosion but if water is around electronics that's a bad combination too!

Let us know what your find out!

Everyone's car leaves a puddle of water after running the air condition for a long period of time.. Almost every car does this.
