Hey guys, I have been tossing around the idea of selling/trading my car and I need some advise on how much I should ask for it. I figured everyone here that drive the same car and have modded ones would be able to give me some advise. I have been looking at e46 m3?s and 02-04 7 series going pretty cheap lately and I am kinda wanting a different car to play with.
Car info- 2004 530i, black on black, factory sport/premium package, adaptive xenons, (no navi) 119,000 miles. H&R race springs, 20? staggered wheels, cf full front spoiler, cf front grilles, cf acs roof spoiler, cf acs trunk spoiler, cf bmw emblems, amber removed from headlights, smoked l.e.d. tail lights, smoked side markers, bright white angel eyes, euro rear reflectors, tinted windows, etc? you get the idea. Car looks amazing for its age, its paid off, has a clean title and perfect carfax, very well kept !
The cheapest I have seen an e60 sell for is 14k and it was a salvage title, but I have seen them for around 16k-19k with almost half the miles I have but they are stock. Im only out of pocket about 15k including all the aftermarket crap on it and im not selling it because of financial reasons, I just want to free up the cash to buy an m3 or 7 series. I did not want to deal with the whole ebay thing and pay to list it just to find out I probably cant get my money back out of it, if that?s going to be the case then I will just keep it and continue using it for my work car
Anyway, given that it looks pretty darn cool and has no problems but has 119 k miles, what do you guys think a good price for it would be ?

You can take the car to Carmax and see how much they are giving it to you. Thay will not bay extra for all the modifications that you have done, but you will get an idea.
Also having such a high miles, did you change the transmission fluid?

I would NEVER go t o carmax. I went there to see what they would give me for my MINT condition 08 GTI with 13K miles so I had checked KBB to get an IDEA how much I can expect (more or less) KBB trade in value was 18600 carmax was giving me 15300!!! with the cars being advertised online for about 20K. DO NOT GO THERE!!!
