Looks like Imola Red? I would love to see that color offered on the E60, especially the M5.

Guys, come on. The one in the gallery is clearly photochopped. Look at the lines around the rear-view mirror. Look at the bottom of the car. It's a bad photochop. The first pic looks real though.

The rims are PS'd too. 19 inch bbs LMs look tiny on the car.

There's a reason why red isn't offered. No. 1, it looks hideous on a new e60. No. 2, imagine how it will look in 5 years? Worse.

That was me, but the photo is not mine. I actually talked to the guy as he sat in his car taking delivery. He was trading in his, for a lack of a better color description, fire engine red E39 540 for a fire engine red 545. Ordered it in black and upon delivery had it painted red. Just like the pictures Iceman posted, but without the lights! Wish I had my camera with me but I was unprepared. Didn't ask how much he had paid for the paint job, but obviously price wasn't an object for the old boy, he had it done at the body shop mt dealer uses for repairing BMW cars.

Red is available on the E60 through BMW Individual. You can specify either Imola red or Japan red though I think the Imola is restricted to M sport models only. IMHO the E60 is too big to look good in red. The deep sides are the issue.
