Just got off the phone with BMWNA Client Relations - they said it can be done and to call my local dealer!
I called my local dealer, EastBayBMW, and they said it can be done as well for $2000!
I know, talk is cheap - but I'll give it a try in the next week or so and let you all know how it went!

My Ride: Ordered Jan 11/05
545 Step, Black Saphire, Truffle Brown, Sport, Logic, Sat Prep
Waiting.........................
I'm freakin. I ordered my car last month with out NAV. A few days later I asked my SA if I could ammend my order. It was too late!
If this works out for you, I'm getting it installed too!
Nothing like a clean install. If I wanted a cheap/practical option I would have bought an Accord.
Please keep us informed.

Yup, my E60 is a 2005 - 9/04 build...so I dont have any bluetooth problems, but the nav thing is a big question mark since 6UA is no longer an option. Makes you wonder if MY2005 all come with nav prewiring or the retrofit im going in for includes the necessary wiring....who knows?
They quoted me over the phone at $2000 parts and labor. I'll verify that again when the parts arrive.
