Yep... but I'm lazy... "map" in my E60 is the same as "map facing north". 

Can you get "map facing north" with perspective?
Whenever I change to perspective the map switches from facing north to moving in the driction im driving?
Is that the only way you can do perspective?

That's the way it works in mine. And it's logical to me since it's a perspective view. 

The perspective view is simply an angle that isn't looking straight down. Why can't they have that angle and with the map facing north. I think when you are lost, you really need the map facing north to get perspective on where you are going.
