Mine was built the last week in July and is doing the same thing as Wash n Wax's. I don't remember the exact phrase but a word is defiantly being cut out. It even sounds weird like some digital error, kind of like that - don't laugh - but it has that sound like the first time Neo is getting pulled into the Matrix when all the chrome stuff is going down his throat. Just for an instant almost like it starts to say something and gets cut off.
My camera has a sound recorder on it and I will try to catch it in a wav file to post.

This issue was discussed months ago on Roadfly's E63 board (which is mostly used for useful information, unlike their E60 board). I think they were saying that as you are approaching the turn all the words are used correctly, but when you get really close (100ft.?, 50ft.?). It starts to skip the word. I think they said that BMW was aware that it was a problem and will fix it starting with Sep. production. We'll see.

So in other words the lady talks to slowly and she should talk much faster so you can make the turn

The nav does that intentionally because there are too many different type of 'streets' to turn onto. It could be street, or alley, or exit, or entrance, or other kind of name and then it would all have to be programmed into the system. So the way they did it, it allows them some options to allow all kinds of turns without overburdening the data with these names. It sounds funny at first, but then you get used to it.
