My Ride: 2005/02 BMW 535D with M-sportpacket Carbonschwarz-metallic, Profi Navi DVD, Bluetooth 6310i, Comfort Seats, Dakota Leather Black, Servotronic, Hi-fi, Park Distance Control, CD Changer, Individual High Gloss Shadowline, Alu Pure, Adaptive Xenon Headlights, Glass Sun Roof, Heat Seating, Voice Recognition
In our 535D have Navi Professional with DVD no TV!

I dont believe so - not yet anyway, although it may come as a later SW upgrade.

Hi Guys,
I think playing of DVD's on the go as an installed part of cars leaving the manufacturer will violate motoring standards, so that option is not looked at in vehicle OEM systems. Rather you might want to consder installing a separate dvd/cd player and have it hooked to the iDrive monitor.

my RX330 can play DVD's on both the front and rear screens...

NO!
There is no law that says you can't display movies or TV while the car is in motion.
The manufacturers decided to do that themselves.

Iceman actualy it is NOT legal in the uk to watch a tv/dvd screen whilst a vehicle is in motion.
