Can a new address be established by entering the Lat/Lon coordinates?

AFAIK, there are only 4 ways to enter a new address / destination:

- Manually (using street, junction and postcode information)
- Via voice command (using street, junction and postcode information)
- From the stored POI information
- From scrolling through the maps and selecting a "target" destination

There's no option to enter map coordinates. However, you can use the map scroll information with "vehicle position" selected on your right-hand info screen (assuming you have Prof Navi with the split screen) - the right-hand screen will show you what coordinates you're hovering over, and you can then select the destination that way.

Yeah because entering coordinates would be so much easier...I think you're on to something

Might be useful for people using Google Maps...

But now with ConnectedDrive you may not need to enter anything between Google Maps and the Nav, the system does it for you.

Thanks, Mac ...

A bit of a round-about method but that should work.

I have a number of location coordinates saved on an old hand held GPS that I have used for 15 years or so.
