Hi

I have a strange error with my nav system..

I always get the message (please insert map dvd)that also if the dvd is alredy inserted,,the system works for seconds (less than a minute) and it will depicts the same message again..what is wrong!!! Is it the lens!

Thing important to say ..any other dvd will be working very well..also the same nav dvd has been tested on an onther car and it worked..

 

Not a strange problem at all - If you're using a burned NAV DVD it may have a bad sector ... if original DVD it may be dirty or have a scratch. Try to replace it with a known "good" DVD or in either case clean the DVD disc. If neither corrects the problem your in-dash NAV/DVD may be failing.
