BMW has posted detailed instructions on how to install the Navigation retrofit for cars equiped with option 6UA (Navigation Prep). The procedure is relatively easy and BMW quote that it will take 2.25hrs of labor. As part of the update the MASK is replaced by a CCC, the CID is replaced with the 8" display and the voice button is added on the IDrive controller.
Ask your dealer to refer to BMW document EBA 51889 on the BMW ASAP portal.

From your description - it sounds like it should be straightforward for a Business to Professional Nav uprade.
Can anyone help with a parts/options number?
