NAV not picking up traffic info in LA Area...anyone else experiencing?

Ok Once again I confirmed that the sys works....some how. When I first start my car, it seems like its taking forever for it to transfer messages. Once I got into the setting screen, unchecked Ti, then check it again....and leave it for about 2 mins...ithen everything works. Without doing this and go straight to Ti page after car started....nothing ever shows up.
