That's a thought. If not the invoice - as it did not necessarily exist (disc is standard in the US) - the disc cover should be proof of legitimate ownership...

if it's free and will arrive quickly then by all means he should. You were originally suggesting that he buy it for the full amount again.. which made no sense. I naturally assumed he would not copy it for resale so him burning a copy to use for himself would not affect the beloved BMW corporation at all.
