n54 535i Service - hitting 100k Miles

n54 535i Service - hitting 100k Miles
Good afternoon,
I am getting close to the 100k miles mark on the car. I've had it now for 2 years now with nearly no issues.
Currently on the list of things to do (which i already have the parts for) are:
-Valve Cover Gasket
-Oil Filter Housing Gasket (with oil cooler plate gasket + new o-rings for oil lines)
-Sunroof Seal
I recently changed both upper rubber seals on the front and rear windshields as they were breaking apart.
Car gets regular oil changes and 94 Octane.
Plugs and coils are pretty new.
New vacuum lines.
Walnut Blasting.
Wondering If i need to or should change the following parts?
-Accessory Belt & Tensioner/Idler Pulley (I see kits for this everywhere)
-VANOS actuators
OR anything else that might be recommended to replace or look into?

Take it to the dealer to confirm if the HPFP (high pressure fuel pump replacement) was already done. You didn't say what year but I think that was for the N54.
Fuel injectors will go around 140-155K. Seem to be around that time I see most report the issue. If your HPFP was done they may have done the injectors also.

Change all fluids, they are not lifetime despite what BMW has stated in the past. ATF, Coolant, differential, power steering, brake fluid, etc.

My Ride: ,retro sport button,comfort seats,m5 front and rear swaybars,pullbars,550 brakes kit with slotted and drilled rotors,upper strut brace,lower 2pt brace,3im,power box,m5 eom wheels,m5 rep bumper and skirts.

Before you start just changing parts out, how has the car been maintained, are you running any aftermarket parts, and has any of the recall been done, if available. As far as turbos, pumps and injectors, some years don't fall into the replacement field, but are very important for the longevity of the motor. They also may not replace if the cars running fine with no codes. You don't have to replace parts just to replace them. If there is a major job, then most of the parts around it are also done, seeing if you have t pay for labor, then this makes sence. These motors need constant attention and periodic maintenance, with that , can live a long life. The most important no,.1 job is an oil sample, that will tell you the condition of your injectors. Turbos, hpfp, ofhg leak, this is very important, belt,idlers, plugs, and your charging system, are all considered maintenance. As long as you know these are all up to par and in excellent condition, 100k is a walk in the park. Hope this sheds some light. There isn't just one thing to consider, there are numerous parts and it goes with owning a turbo car.

Update,
I took the car into my regular shop this Monday to get the valve cover and OFHG, Pulley's and Belts done. He said he was really busy but put the car on the hoist to check for other leaks like I asked him.
He noticed the front crank seal and rear main was sweating but wasn't too familiar with the n54 motor so he asked me if it was ok for him to send the car to his colleague. Since i fully trust my guy I agreed. The results are in addition to what i asked them to inspect.
Front Crank Seal is sweating.
Rear Main Seal is developing enough to create a small drip.
Front Thrust Arms (Bushings) not sure what those are???
Intercooler connections @ O-Rings are leaking ( a bit of oil )??
Highpressure lines ( fuel rail to injectors over valve cover ), one of them has a bit of discolouration/oxidization?
all the above including valve cover gasket, OFHG, pulleys, belts, are looking at about 25 hours of work.
any ideas or insight into any of this?
I have the parts for most of everything.

and the front thrust arms-bushing, these are just press in bushings correct?

If my front and rear seals were doing what yours are, I'd leave them alone.
Thrust arm bushings are actually tension arm bushings. It's the front bush at the subframe and is a hydraulic bushing. They can be replaced in the current arm "one time" but usually you replace the arm.

My seals are sealing. Just saying it's a hell of a lot of work and expense changing seals that are just 'sweating' or 'creating a small drip'. BMWs usually are a tad damp - I don't worry about it unless it's making a mess on the garage floor.
For the intercooler o-rings, a little oil drip isn't unusual. If they were leaking badly enough to lose boost you'd get a code.
25 hours labour? At our local shop that's north of $3k. Ouch.
