Does anyone have the issue of the "mysterious opening trunk?" It happens to me three or four times a week. I even watch how I hold/put down my keys. But I'll look out the window and the trunk is open. It happened one day at the mall with my wifes digital camera and some shopping bags inside. To our belief noone stole anything. Maybe thiefs thought it was a sting.

Can the software somehow disconnect the remote option? I'd prefer this as to having the issue of it opening with something truly valuable inside getting stolen.

We all need to find a Java hacker and have him design some bootleg software that we could upgrade on a thumbdrive from the dash and configure to our liking.... Wishful thinking.

True 15.1 I was on the BMW tech site Monday and they said it was one issue fixed with a software upgrade.
