Hey everyone,
I've been off the board for a few weeks but wanted to share some updated pics of my whip since I recently gave her some TLC with a new look.
Many people to thank for this:
I have to say it all turned out just like I hoped it would. More pictures can be found in my latest gallery. (link below in sig) I'll take some higher quality shots of the car once I have it actually detailed & use a better camera. Let me know what you think!
I know 20 inch rims are all the rage but I felt compelled to stick with the stock 18 inch size as I really don't have the budget for the high end rims & suspension mod. At least not now. Plus with this being my daily driver I really didn't want to lower the car. The roads around Houston are bad enough already. Getting in and out of some parking lots with the lower front end can be a real challenge too!
I love this forum!! I've received so much advice & good ideas from everyone here. Thank you so much!
Happy Holidays y'all!!!

Many people to thank for this:
- Tony for the rear M-tech bumper! (slight scratch in it but I'm not freaking out about it)
- ak47si (Alex) who hooked me up with the front m-tech bumper & hamann lip.
- The black grilles & trunk spoiler were purchased off eBay
- My local BMW shop: Bavarian Machine Specialties of Houston sourced the paint work & performed the final install of all the pieces.

Looks awesome! Have you thought about adding the Trunk Finisher? That would finish off the rear really nicely. Plus, it's a cheap addition. The part costs $140. $75 to paint and mount.
Anyway, car looks solid! Nice job!

could you post the contact info for your body shop? I am guessing that you would highly recommend them and can you also post the link for the ebay purchase of the front grill? Thanks.

Trunk Finisher? Are you talking about that trim piece you have on your car at the top of the rear window?

your car looks exactly like mine 3 months ago, but in a different color. I missed my 166s ![Frown](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/sad.gif)
GREAT CAR BTW! now for some springs/coilovers so the real fun and challenge can begin. (clearing speedbumps, driveways and dips)
