MY2005 545i order cutoff

My Ride: 2011 550i; Alpine White/Black Dakota/MSport/SAT/IAS/Driver Assistance/ConveniencePkg/Prem Pkg 2/4 Zone AC/Side-Top Cameras/HUD & Black panel/BMW Apps-iPhone 4 Media/M Decklid spolier /Ventureshiled clear bra/ V1 -Ordered 4/9/11, Production 4/19, Shipped on Martorell 4/23,Arrived Port Hueneme 5/19,Delivered 5/21/11
I've been told by a local dealer that MY2005 545i's can no longer be ordered,all MY'05's are in production, and that cutoff was last week. He also claims there is no oder/spec info on MY2006 550i yet. No kidding, I know that. It doesnt seem to make sense that if there is no MY2006 info if MY2005 run has ended. I did clarify that he was not talking about 530I week 9 changes. Can anybody coroborate this?

There were other dealers telling this crap, and that's what it is: crap!
The production of the 545 has not ended! Officially there isn't even a release date for a "possible" 550 yet. Other ppl here went to other dealers after they were told this crap, and guess what, they ordered their car...

[/quote]Nope no special fees or special order procedure. Just tell your dealer you want it and they will be able to chose that combination in their system. Odd that they dont make this combo available on BMW USA...
Oh ya I've considered Anthracite but decided to go with Poplar instead... kinda "blends" in more with Auburn I thought. Either way you cant go wrong.
