dear all
nice to have this exciting conversation
my car is D1S and already bought a pair from PHILIPS Ultinon 4300K D1S Xenon Bulb for 119$ on amazon
the question is? my car was at the BMW service center and they told me if i changed the bulbs it might become stronger but the thing is:
my car is BI-XENON high and low at the same bulb. do i need a special bulp for that or the normal one and the headlight will make the BI-XENON thing?

The physical bulb is the same in your case D1S as it also should be stamped/marked around the ring of your Xenon lens in the headlight.
Bi-Xenon is more of a feature of the headlight as there's a flap inside it that open up when you use it for hi-beam.

Another way to explain it is the headlight is just as strong in low or high beam, but the aim is different for low and high. When in low beam mode the top of the beam is cut off to prevent oncoming traffic from being blinded. In high beam mode the light pattern is higher and typically you can see a little further because of this.
