What do you guys/gals think?
LM25 Blizzaks on 18' OE replica (style 128). Not bad replicas although had vibration problem with one rim.

A clarification (just adjusted my sig too). These are Bridgestone Blizzak MZ-03 RFTs. My bad. Not bad for runflats and only slightly harsher than the regular summer RFTs.

Same size all the way round and I reckon 18s are a fairly aggresive winter setup. Narrow 17s would be best for traction. Haven't heard of anyone with a staggered winter setup running dedicated snow tires. They're very good in the snow and the E60 drives better than any FWD car I've had the misfortune to own before. I'm glad board members talked me out of all-seasons. Saw some negative posts about all-seaons this year.
Got the tires (low mileage) used on Ebay. Notice these first on the E60 classified section.
OE replica rims on Ebay too. Decent for $500, although I suspect one rim was poorly made as it vibrates somewhat. Had to move it from the front to rear to elimininate the vib. All said, I'd likely never get replicas for a summer setup. Vibration is a bummer.

PS One nice thing about the snow tires. The comparative lack of grip can be fun in the dry. Throw her hard into a turn (particularly with an incline) and the back end starts coming round. Yippie.

Very good. So your the nutball with the sport package driving around in the Chicago snow. LOL
I assume you have a 19' summer setup. A quick question, is your E60 with the winter sports better in the snow than the 330xi with the all seasons? Sounds like it.
My 5er with the Blizzaks (full snow and ice tires) is the best car I've ever had in the snow. A tad harsher than the summer RFTs but I dig a ride firm anyway. Never had AWD, always assumed it was pure hype and comprised mpg and accerelation too much. Of course modern systems are better in these areas.
