im not even going to a body shop. there coming here to replace it. i have geico. dont know if that means squat.lol.. ive had windshields replaced before but that was on my mustang, and from my b.f punching it.(guess i got him mad) anyways i didnt care at the time as it had no fancy sensors and all. im truly not sure if its oem, doubt it honestly, but i know itll have the rain sensor my car has. to be honest i doubt bmw will even check that when i finaly do return the car. someone correct me if im wrong please, as i have them coming tomorrow. thanks so much! mel
Mel,
I was in a similar situation a few years back and I also have Geico. Gieco uses satellite glass for their mobile repairs and replacements in Cali but don?t know about NYC. Make sure you ask for oem. Gieco WILL cover the cost of oem. Also when the installer comes, check for those designations on the attached stickers.

When mine got cracked by a stone, Allstate immediately covered the full cost because of my comprehensive. There was no hassle at all getting approval for OEM glass. Just make sure the rain sensor works correctly.
