And it looked as if none of the belt bearings had been changed for its life
I have now changed everything. thermostate and housing, both belts, water pump all tensioner bearings, oils, filters and just about to change the altinator when it arrives as the bearing are noisy too
I think I have changed everything but just knowing it is okay in my head feels nice

I was told partial fluid change is not good? His reasoning does make sense though.
So while changing the WP/Thermo, what else is there to change like belts/ etc
Please advice?

How do you know you have shavings if you dont remove the fluid. I did my change at 130K and Im good. Alot of us have done it after 100k for the first change. If your mechanic tells you not to then dont. It is up to you but you are making the assumption you have trans debris in your fluid without looking at it. Let us know how its doing at 180K.

My transmission has been perfect for nearly three years now
Recently I had trouble with the gear shifter and bought a second hand one.
But while I was waiting for it to arrive I removed the old one and replaced all the wires from the shifter switch to the plug and it's been perfect ever since and changing better
Now I have a good shifter sitting in my parts box
Keep us up to date with your transmission problems and listen to the president seanjordon20

One thing I don't understand.
When you have refilled the fluid by another 1.5 litre, you said the error is gone and gear change become smooth. Why you then send the Valve Body to china?

For high quality chinese valves to be put in it ... It's good to hear the problem was solved, but that "sending the valve body to china" part left me lost too.

If I drove the car like my wife drives I could have left the car like that and never done another thing but I wasn’t 100% happy

I love in japan and it's difficult to find any company that repairs anything
They simply want to exchange everything for new
After I filled the transmission to the correct level and removed the error code the transmission changed smoothly if I drove it gently
My wife was driving it and had no problems but if you put your boot into it especially if the mark it would hesitate and then a fault code would come back again
Others on the forum had their valve bodies serviced and so I found a company in chine which is an over night parcel express that would donut for me
I fitted new solenoids as well
A filter and seals and new fluid
It's been perfect ever since no matter how hard I drive it
