Hey everyone...

I finally get some time to post up pictures of a truely tragic scene of my e60 last year, during the monsoon season in Mumbai. Looks like a huge claw surrounding the car. We had to get the fire department to cut the tree into parts and lift it off without further damaging the car.
This kept me seriously depressed for weeks! But thanks to the AMAZING bmw dealer here, she was repaired and back to normal in a month and a half!! They replaced the entire body shell!

It is heart wrenching to see that photo But thank god no one was hurt.

Very sad but at least you have a happy ending.

BTW, I know I sound too nosey but how much does an e60 cost in India.

The 530d, the one in the picture, fully loaded with all option was approx $140K in USD terms..
In India the import duty for a car is 104%!!

Sorry about that man, but didn't your insurance cover it ? In any other place, that damage, would count as total loss.

Yea. Thank God it was covered by insurance!
