when you got the wheels balanced, did they mention any bends in the rims? Sometimes aluminum wheels bend easily and there is only so much balancing that can be done to compensate. I assume the balancing improved the situation to some degree?

It did from 40mph shaking to 50. I know I got a flat on one of the rim(tire blew out when I was going 90mph on the highway). I then drove close to 80miles on the spare tire(had to make errands).
I got it balanced 3x, they never told me about any bent in the rims

3x to balance? That tells me that they couldn't properly balance it and they are doing the best they can. Take it in to the tire shop and ask them to check for bend, it will be apparent.

If that's the one I think it is, the stock bushing is liquid filled. Often times the bushing ruptures and the fluid leaks out. It looks black. The car still drives, but I imagine it could shake.
