The number seems low! Do you remember if they turned off DSC & other traction control.
You should be at around 440-450rwhp on a Dynojet with all your mods.
Have a feeling they didn't dyno it right.

I will tell you someone who knows a little more about this asked me today:
-Did they check you tire pressure? NO
-Did you see the fan? JOKE
-I wonder when the last time their dynos were serviced? NO IDEA
-What gear did you do your pulls? 4TH...WRONG!
-Was your car properly warmed since it was sitting for over an hour? YOU MEAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN WARMED UP? NO (WELL MAYBE 2 MINS)
-In your video there was no coastdown for sae correction. UMMM...I DON"T KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS. lol
Anyway, I know my result may be off, but it was fun to see most peoples faces when the 420 came up.
Most other cars dynoed were under 300 so I still stole the show.

See this is what I am talking about! DSC was off. I'm not a dyno expert nor do I know exactly what my numbers should be with these mods.

My Ride: A Car faster than yours.....
The numbers dont tell anything. It all depends on what that car would dyno under the same conditions, with the SAME dyno operator and settings if the car was stock. The same dyno can dyno a different number if it was placed in two different rooms. I wouldnt worry too much about the numbers. With the mods you have you should be able to go and eat up a lot of M5s. Just ask Joe from Trinity. lol. We did, exhaust, pulley, oil cooler and ram intake kit. He went around looking for other M5s to beat on. I think DBae is the only one so far to pull on him.

The 17% drivetrain loss is a myth. Each car is different and the 17% thing was just some number that people started to use. The only way to see what the true drivetrain loss is to dyno that car on chassis dyno, take that very same engine out and dyno the motor on an engine dyno. Even with that, you cant dyno an engine, then a separate car on a chassis dyno and say thats the drivetrain loss. Some cars just dyno more than others.
and btw, that fan is a joke. Its not a high velocity fan so there is no way to test real world airflow with that. Its basically there to keep the car from overheating by blowing air into the cooler. Also, with the fan THAT close to the car, its hardly getting any air. Have you ever tried to put your fan right up on a fan? Not much air. This is why we put our HV fan 8ft from the car.
