I went to a car show this past weekend. The event was for charity so they were only charging $20 for dyno runs. I've never had one done on my car before. I usually spectate, but for $20 I figured I give it a try with my RPi setup.

Here is what I have just in case you are too lazy to read my sig.

- RPi Full GT Exhaust Sec 1,2,3 (no secondary cats) Powder Coated Matte Black
- RPi Pulley Kit
- RPi Ram Air Scoops
- RPi Block-Off Plates
- BMC Filters

I definitely would like a tune at some point. My best result was Max Power = 421 Max Torque = 325

An observer from the group I was with said the fan was a joke. That is the one thing that I noticed as well. Honestly I don't know what to think since I'm no expert, and after reading many threads on the M5 board I was even more confused. In some threads it looks like I got a good result on other threads I question the result. Here is some video, result sheet, and a few pics. The pic with me standing next to my car I was so aggravated at that point because it took about an hour to inspect the car and hook it up. They told me since it was a charity event they need to check my car for liability reasons.

I have to admit that the few seconds of being behind the wheel in that dyno bay was quite the adrenaline rush. I made sure I had all the windows down and the sunroof open. The sound was insane!

Inspection, I was a little nervous after it took them 20 just to get the car up properly.

Nice underside shot of my RPi setup.

Me in WTF mode. This is about an hour later.

The results...

Finally the best part...the video. My friend didn't film the whole thing

I agree. I expected to see about 440-450 at the wheels. Time for some RPI headers, an ECU reflash and a RPI oil cooler. But that all said, your ride already has far more power than any sane person needs. But who said that we car fanatics are sane?

With 500 crank HP you should be at about 415-420 assuming ~17% drive-train loss with the stock setup...?

ECU Reflash yes!

Headers...too much $$$$ for my taste at this point. I understand it's the biggest gain outside of a supercharger or stroker motor, but $7K+ is a little to much for me to justify. (yes even I can't justify this. lol)

I'm with you though. Now that I am used to my M I feel the need for more power. Silly huh?

This is where I am confused as well. Does Eloy still visit this forum regularly? This would be a good example/question for him.

That totally rocked! When my car grows up, it wants to be like yours.
