The revival of this thread means suddenly I have two offers for the parts I had and one person considering...lucky me The first person to pay gets this stuff. I'm selling Brand New parts for a lot less than BMW would, so whoever wants this better be quick.

Just a side note, you don't need special tools to cut and crimp the most fiber optic cable, just be careful with your cut, and use restraint when crimping and you'll be fine. I've done this for a few retrofits with zero issues to date.

Cool Chase.. this I didn't know. I have avoided buying fiber tools or trying to make my own fiber connections. A short DIY from you on this would be a new and helpful addition.

Any success here?

Norway uses the same system as the UK, so I would like this option to when I'm gonna upgrade my MASK for CIC. However, I don't want to spend money on a CIC with DAB if it's impossible to retrofit.

External DAB on CIC is not possible. You need a CIC with embedded DAB if you want to retrofit DAB.

Yes, I know, but I don't want to spend the extra money on a CIC with embedded DAB, if it's not gonna work anyway, then I'll just buy a regular CIC for less money.

CIC with DAB works absolutely fine.

So it's no problem to retrofit DAB if I do the things described in this thread?
