My Ride: 2009 535i
The new Idrive controller looks cool more than anything. I used the old controller easily.
I got an awesome deal on this car, and saved 4,000 from MSRP and did not get raped too bad with my 2008 335i trade-in. I probably couldn't have afforded the brand new model in 2010. With the economy influencing sales and financing, now was the time to buy a 5-series. I traveled to Atlanta from Central Florida to get this car. Nobody in Florida would touch the deal that I got. Break in was nice on the way back home.
Thanks for the info on the wheels. I think a wheel brush would definitely be needed on those.
Well, hopefully no HPFP issues for me. I had 19,000 on my 335i without any issues.

Enjoy your new e60! Those wheels will be easier to keep clean if you treat them to a good wax job and stay away from harsh wheel cleaners that will strip the protection off. Auto soap, warm water and a soft brush are all I need to clean mine once a week or whenever they get brake dust on them.
