my engine (M54) ticks

started last saturday. I made oil change about 4-5000 km ago and I used a engine cleaer and flush (that was surely the worst thing I could ever have done).

seems are hydraulic tappets. the strange thing is that noise INCREASES on engine hot...can be other tings than tappets to generate that noise?
I made an oil change with a 5w40 after using an additive, I now have a 5w30 changed as the engined started ticking.

ideas?

 

what oil are you using?

 

now castrol 0w30, provided by bmw
