my IDrive takes forever to warm up

After starting the car, my idrive runs without lag for about 20 seconds. After 20 seconds the idrive freezes for about 20-30 seconds depending on how it feels. I can't change the volume, scroll, etc during the freeze. not sure what progman version this is. Does this happen to any of you guys? Is this normal?

Does not sounds normal IMO, may be a good idea to call your SA....GL
