Maybe aliens like the e60 so much they teleported it out of ur driveway. Maybe tomorrow morning it'll be back but with a super High horsepower engine and a new Idrive. Maybe the car drove itself... Ever watch transformers?

I feel your pain, but I'm hoping you are on the phone with BMW Assist , cause time is of the essence.

Joe, your car is a 2007. If equipped, BMW Assist should be active. "On suitably equipped 2007 and later models, the BMW Assist Safety Plan is part of Ultimate Service, included at no cost for 4 years from your BMW's in-service date. ". E60's with BMW assist built from 10/04 onward have Stolen Vehicle Recovery as a part of the Safety Plan.

http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Content/Own...watEhx7ykIB5g==

"If your BMW is equipped with this capability* and is ever stolen, notify the BMW Assist Response Center by calling toll free (888) 333-6118 immediately after filing your police report. The response specialist can remotely activate your BMW Assist system to locate your vehicle and then help the police recover it. This feature may even reduce your comprehensive insurance premium."

"*Available on all 7 Series produced 9/05 and later and all other BMW Assist-equipped and activated models produced 10/04 or later."
Again, good luck Joe. I hope you recover her swiftly.

Keep your head up buddy. It'll get better and you'll definitely get a new BMW soon.

I'll look out in queens for you too. If I see it, i'll beat them down with my flashlight and wait till you come over.

What sucks more is not so much the car itself, but all the customizing that you did. All the work to make the car have its own personality. Well, when you get your new BMW, I'm sure everyone will enjoy watching your new toy grow up with mods.

GL in finding those bastards!

Bro, I wish my words could help... I know it sucks but just keep cool. I don't know what I would do but all I can say is keep cool. Maybe this is going to work out for the better.

Joe -- I'd post this message on the other Bimmer and E60/5 series net-sites too...More eyes on the look-out is a good thing..

I'd keep an eye on carsoup.com and other high-velocity sales sites too

I sure Joe feels more like he had an ET anal probe today
If only our cars could transform themselves into the latest model like Bumblebee did!

I'm guessing that disconnecting the battery will disable any GPS tracking feature of BMW assist, does it also silence the car alarm or is there an auxiliary backup to that? Maybe Lowjack is not such a bad investment after all

Joe, that is simply terrible news! I hope whatever it takes for you to be happy and satisfied is what happens from here on out! I've had a car totaled, out from under me before (loved that car too!) and I realized within a couple of hours the opportunity to start shopping for another (better) car was upon me and I truly enjoyed that part of the process. I hope it works as well for you too!!

Suffice it to say that if you get her back, it most likely will be sans rims. So, start looking for new wheels. Sorry, buddy! I am sure they will find it very soon, with the GPS tracking and all.
