Actually, the whole process was really quick. I decided on ED the last week of December and the car started production 1/18. The difficult part was deciding on colors and options. That said, I've been on this forum way too long without having an E60 in my driveway.
Order tracking is possible on the owners circle, but the info is limited and stale. My salesperson provided the detailed production info, which is only one day behind.
The waiting will kill me after dropping off my E60 in Europe. But, the weather here in Chicago will be crappy for a couple of months anyway. However, I'm looking forward to throwing my golf clubs in Bangle's boot. LOL
