Congrats. Also surprised that your insurance company didn't total it. Who do you use?

Congrats on getting your car back looking like new. I am assuming you would recommend Wagner for body work, right?

In November the West Coast chapter of the Swedish BMW Club visited a BMW Garage. In their workshop they had this 530d Touring, which they where rebuilding. The car had crashed head on with a moose.

Body shop is Wagner Certified Collision and is one of the few BMW Certified Collision Centers in the Northeast. It is owned by local BMW/Mercedes/Audi dealer (where I bought the car). The car has a regular title and not a rebuilt one. Damage was around $17,000 and change. The work done is amazing. All mechanical work was done at the BMW dealer bays with original parts. Body shop was nice enough to provide part receipts. Work done carries lifetime warranty if I am the owner of the car forever :-). No complains at all so far and I am very happy.
Who was your insurance company?, How tough was it to deal with them? , taking to BMW certified collision center was your decision?

faith-building, man! I'm pretty much in the same shoes now, except not as hard an impact.

how complicated - if you know this - was it to fix the rear left suspension? My rear left wheel is actually in about the same shape now as yours was before you fixed the car...
