I went to my dealer asking why I don't have MP3 capability, along with a list of other maintenance work and problems. I said it was in the manual that MP3 capability was part of the car. They had the car for a few days...
When I got the car back, the work order said "MP3 capability is a mistype in the manual - e60s will not get this functionality."
Sheeeeesh.

that's another option but not being to control the ipod via the i-drive is a pain :\ much rather burn my own cd's and control everything with the i-drive.

The radio business is the standard radio on the E60.
I am not sure if they Logic/ includes the radio pro over in the US. You can have L7 (technically) with the radio bus, so I am not sure what radio you have when you have L7 in the USA.
Anyways, you NEED radio pro. With nav (bus or pro) you have the radio pro.
When you have nav you have to wait until September for the new software.
