Why does my car sound like a pirate ship when I change gears from P to R. Really loud like wooden boat creaking.

May not be the same thing put sometimes, especially if I'm on some sort of incline with the brakes applied but not too firmly, when I put the car in D or R, the car will shift a little causing the brakes to creak and the car moves.

yea that's what it sounds similar too except i wasnt on an incline this time. What i also found interesting is that after i drove around and the car warmed up the sound was completely gone. I am hitting 70k on the odometer.
