Thumbs up

Hello I have notice that my 2005 545i when I started up it hesitates it feels like it is struggling and shutting down the rpms go down and back up, like is choking i have to accelerate a little bit sometimes to get it going good and then sometimes when i try to accelerate the car hesitates again like it is choking. I am in Chicago and right now the weather is getting nice and warm. I keep the car garage but I dont know whats going on does anyone have any idea before i take it in for service.

Have the service boys check your fuel pressure. Among many things, it could be a faulty fuel pump or clogged fuel filter.

You might try the 25 second accelerator trick to reset the transmission! Its free and the results are instantaneous...okay 26 seconds, but who's counting??
