I have run over some massive potholes with the 172s and so far no bends. I suppose that OEM wheels are stronger than most aftermarket cast wheels.

I got keyed second week of ownership.
Two full scratches 360 across the whole car.
$9,948.00 to repaint the WHOLE car.
Luckily Insurance covered.
4 weeks without my 545i was hell.
