my 545i was received at the Port on July 17th.
I was NOT part of the BMW Recall based on the VIN Number and this was confirmed by the dealer and BMWNA.
All of a sudden, the dealer is telling me that I have to wait until the second week of August to get my car because it's part of the recall and they have to wait for the DME part from Germany.....I am really pissed off right now but there is nothing I can do about it.....

ANy suggestions?

Thanks
Samy

I feel your pain... but there's really nothing you can do. As long as you get your car in one piece and it works without any major problems i'm sure you'll be happy afterwards.

Sorry Samyt - I figured you're car was in the recall when you said it was still in the VPC. My car won't be ready for a month and I am pondering about a 05. This is a very bad situation for BMW and effecting the 8 and 12 cylinder cars hits there best customers hard. I hope I can work something out with my dealer.
